BlackBerry Gemini atau BlackBerry Curve 8520 merupakan BlackBerry pertama yang menggunakan trackpad lembut sebagai tombol navigasi untuk mengakses email, messaging, dan situs jejaring sosial. Untuk mengetik, ponsel ini masih menggunakan keyboard full-QWERTY.
Selain fitur standar BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) untuk mengakses 10 akun email dan juga BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) untuk fitur keamanan dan administrasi TI perusahaan, ponsel ini menawarkan fitur baru untuk multimedia.
